Beta Update Version 0.2.1


For this week's content update, releasing early, it was originally scheduled for Saturday March 13 I have been hard at work setting up some new content and working on some performance issues in WebGL, hoping to put the WebGL Version online on this week.

Levels

  • Added 10 new maps to the build
  • There are 5 maps of each biome type.
  • Added a level select screen which will work off of a new Save System



Units

  • Updated Unit Health
  • Added a Healthbar to each Unit that appears in the game
  • Added a Boss unit that will be on all levels of multiples of 5
  • Units now have their own Gold Reward instead of all units granting 50 Gold

Looking forward for the next week.

Levels and Map Work

  • Updating the original 5 levels for look and feel
  • Adding 10 more levels to complete the base game
  • Second Balance Pass

Audio and Sound Effects

  • I am finalizing the audio for each level/biome and the sound effects to be used. These should be appearing in the Build for Saturday March 20, maybe earlier, we'll see

Visual Effects

  • Still working on death effects right now for the units, these should be coming in soon.

Performance

  • Continuing to ensure Game Performance is stable across Windows and WebGL, updating code where needed to increase game performance.
